News tips and leaks
Something unannounced, a build you have seen, a store listing that went up early, or a
document. Tell us what you have and how you came by it — that is what lets us judge it.
Corrections and right of reply
If we got a fact wrong, tell us and we will fix it visibly. If we wrote about you or your
studio and you want to respond, we will publish your statement or a fair summary of it.
Advertising and partnerships
Media pack requests, direct campaigns and sponsorship enquiries. Note that advertising never
buys coverage, a score, or silence — that is set out in our disclosure.
Copyright and takedowns
If you own material used on the site and want it removed or credited differently, our DMCA
page lists exactly what a notice needs so we can act on it quickly.
Sending us a tip
Most of what we publish starts with somebody telling us something. A few things worth knowing
before you do:
- We protect our sources. We will not publish your name, your employer, or any
identifying detail without your permission. - We do not pay for leaks, and we will say so plainly rather than leave you
wondering. - Please do not send us anything you are contractually or legally barred from
sharing, and please do not send material obtained by breaking into something. We decline
it, and it puts you at risk for nothing. - Evidence helps. A screenshot, a listing URL, a file name or a date is the
difference between a story we can run and one we cannot. - We label what we cannot confirm. If we run your tip and it is unverified, the
article will say so — that is our editorial policy.
When to expect a reply
We aim to answer within two working days. Corrections and copyright notices are looked at first.
If a message needs no reply — a tip we cannot use, for instance — we may not send one, but it has
still been read.
