TrueOrGame publishes leaks and rumours. That only has value if readers can tell what we know from
what we suspect. This page is the standard we hold ourselves to, and how to tell us when we fall short
of it.
How we handle unconfirmed information
- We say what kind of claim it is. Confirmed by the publisher, reported by a named
outlet, attributed to a track-record leaker, or an anonymous claim — these are not the same thing and
we do not blur them. - We name the origin wherever naming it does not expose a source, and we link to it
so you can judge it yourself. - We say what we could not verify. An article that cannot confirm the central claim
says so plainly rather than implying more than we have. - Datamined content is treated as unreleased. Files found in a build show intent at a
point in time, not a commitment, and plans change.
Sources
We protect our sources. We do not publish identifying details of a person who asked for anonymity.
We do not pay for leaks. We do not solicit material that a person is contractually or legally barred
from sharing, and we decline material that appears to come from a hack, an intrusion or a theft.
Reviews
Reviews are based on playing the game. We say which platform we played on, roughly how long we
played, and whether the code was supplied to us. If a game changes substantially after launch we update
the review and note the change rather than silently rewriting history.
AI
Editorial judgement, verification and conclusions are human. Where AI tools assist with research or
production, a person is responsible for every published claim. We do not publish AI-generated text as
if it were reporting.
Corrections
We correct mistakes and we do it visibly.
- Factual error: corrected and marked with what changed and when.
- Rumour that did not hold: the article is updated with the outcome. We do not
quietly delete a story that turned out wrong — the record is the point. - Typographical or formatting fixes: made without a note.

link and what is wrong. Corrections from publishers and developers are welcome and we will always
include an official statement.
Right of reply
If we report on a company or a person and they wish to respond, we will publish a fair summary of
their response, or their statement in full where length allows.
